The Neraida Floating Museum is berthed at Flisvos Marina and it is open to the public with free admission, guided tours and educational programmes.

HOW TO GET TO THE MUSEUM

The Neraida Floating Museum is berthed at Flisvos Marina, in a landscaped promenade and recreation area with facilities for visitors (toilets, cafes/restaurants, park, etc.) and near the Park of Maritime Tradition, which also has the battleship "G. Averof", the destroyer "Velos" Museum of Anti-Dictatorial Struggle, the Athenian Trireme "Olympia", the sailing ship "Eugenios Eugenides", the cable-laying steamship "Thalis o Milissios" and the Perama-type sailboat "Evangelistria".

 

BY CAR

Via the E75 Highway that leads to Poseidonos Avenue. Via Sygrou Avenue that merges with Poseidonos Avenue.
Note: Poseidonos Avenue is the main highway along the coast that passes just outside Flisvos Marina.

BY BUS

The "Ulen" bus station is outside Flisvos Marina. Buses with numbers 217,550,A1,B1,B2 offer direct access from the centre of Athens, of Piraeus and of Glyfada.

BY TRAM

The tram stop "Trocadero" is just outside the main entrance of the Marina. The tram offers direct access from the centre of Athens (Syntagma), from Neo Faliro (SEF) and from the southern suburbs (Voula, Glyfada).

 

 

USEFUL INFORMATION

The entrance to the floating museum is free. Prior to entry, visitors will be asked to register their names.

Visitors must wear flat shoes. To enter the museum they will be given single-use shoe covers provided by the museum's staff.

Average visit duration is approx. 30΄- 40 minutes.

Eating, smoking, taking photographs, video shooting and mobile phone use is prohibited in all museum areas.

Touching the exhibition items is not allowed. Visitors are kindly requested not to touch or lean on glass showcases.

Backpacks and shopping bags are not allowed in the floating museum.

Visitors are kindly requested to follow the instructions of the crew and the staff during their visit in the floating museum and to be careful as they enter and exit the vessel.

People with physical disabilities may access the exhibition corridors, the video hall and the main museum room.

The deck and the bridge of the ship are off limits. The Neraida Floating Museum does not have a shop.

Visitors under 16 years of age must be accompanied.
